News: Ultraman Belial (Bad Ultraman)

...This is a still action figure (if that makes sense) of an evil ultraman from the action moive Monster Battle Legend of Ultra Galaxy...looks like the head's too big and legs too short if you ask me, why can't they make him a little more appealing...

News: Nice to be Tony Stark

When your house is decorated like this, you can only say it's nice to be Tony:

Ironman Mark I?...I thought Jeff Bridges picked up those pieces in the desert to make his Iron monger before he decided to win the best actor award...May be he only used those for reference and Tony found the pieces in Jeff's office...

Ironman Mark III on the left and Mark IV on the right...
Many on the net have noted that there possibly is a Mark V in Ironman 2, given the extreme likelihood of an initial huge battle that will severely damaged Mark IV, it only makes sense Tony will come back with an even stronger version...

And the promo poster clearly pictured the triangular chest power thing...

And then there is this guy...ironman portable?

Thanks to Wikipedia, I have been educated...the suitcase ironman is probably Mark V, and the Triangular chest is Mark VI, wow, more toys coming from Hot Toys no doubt!

News: Hot Toys Ironman Mark IV

Wow, I am very excited about Hot Toys Ironman Mark IV, as you can see from these updates, it bound to be a winner (until Ironman V...comes out...may be). The last Ironman, Mark III damaged version, was well-received, but this Mark IV seems to have outdone that one by quite a bit.

Mark VI is slimmer than Mark III, and I like a lot of the changes that come with it like movable fingers, a LED lightup stand, the amount of articulation, this one definitely is on my radar...

News: Hot Toys Whiplash Pics

Hot Toys provided some updates on their whiplash 1/6 figure, I am not a fan of this character - he looks like he needs a bath - but you must admire the length they've gone to in recreating the intricate details on that exoskeleton thingy...

News: What Might Hot Toys Produce for Ironman 2

First off, this is totally my speculation, so take it with a grain of salt...

Just watched the Ironman 2 trailer, and then I was wondering what merchandise in Hot Toys 1/6 scale action figure line will likely be released...My suspicion is that on top of the expected, this portable ironman suit version could be a candidate...

May be one or more of those guys in the background...

or even this internal version of what looks like Ironman Mark 2...

I am hoping for an anatomically accurate Black Widow though.

News: Yamato Macross Display Stand

Yamato's very popular display stand for their Macross action figure line will be released later in a new metallic blue color, I'm ordering mine now...also, if you missed it, the VF-1 armour set will be re-released in May on its own.

News: Hot Toys Clash of the Titans Perseus Update

Hot Toys posted some updates on the upcoming Perseus, just like I said, Medusa's head is included (although anyone would have guessed), however, I don't see Zeus' sword anywhere, I'm going to put my neck out again, I smell a special version down the road...BTW, awesome head sculpt although he seems a bit short (legs too short may be?)

So Hot Toys, when are we getting Io aka Gemma Arterton???

News: Starship Troopers Roger Young Early Version

Not sure how much is this 'early' version differs from the 'late' version released earlier, nonetheless, this is now available for preorder at Hobby Search. I can't imagine the size of this being very big since you can ship it by SAL, may be 10 to 12 inches max? It's made by Yamato and sells for 12,000 yen.
