Bandai released this pellermo product on Sep 17, giving a whole new meaning to the terms like "family portrait", "personalized greeting cards" or "playing with your kids"...

Essentially, these are 500 yen action figures that you customized...

Step 3: Download and install pellermaker software

Step 4: Use software to cut and past images of your head and clothing to the included decals, and the rest is history...

News: Wave 1/100 VF-1S model kit

Wave posted updates on their upcoming 1/100 Macross VF-1S model kit, coming in Dec for 2400 yen.  This is not transformable, they are also making a battroid version separately.

It has good details, not too sure though as Hasegawa also has 1/72 with comparable if not better detailing.

News: Mazinger Z design sketches

Bandai created a series named designer corner in the Tamashii website to promote the soul of chogokin Shin Mazinger Z product line and the anime series.  These are the latest updates from that series.

I always have a soft spot for these design line drawings, to me, you can see the original interpretations that the designer had intended.  Quite fascinating...

BTW, I cancelled my preorder for GX49, Mazinger Z with God Scrander.  In the Sep issue of Dengeki magazine, the unpainted pictures show that only half of the upper torso, the lower torso, the upper arms and the thighs are metal, the rest are plastic.  I figured, if I wanted so much plastic, I would have ordered the plastic model version and saved a boatload of money.  No thanks, I love the GX-45.

Just released on Sep 19, the Devilfish is identically priced with the Nirvash Type Zero spec 2.

May be I'm tired of the spec 2, its color scheme or what have you, I somehow wished I had bought this one instead.  This guy looks like it means business, no circus act here...
