News: Robot Damashii Exia Repair & Other Tamashii Web Shop Exclusives

So here are some of the upcoming tamashii web shop exclusives, I wonder if the folks at Bandai have really studied the marketing strategy behind this properly, does the financial benefit of tamashii web shop exclusives really outweigh a worldwide release?
I hardly think so, especially the distribution channel is already in place, and I expect the margins to be comparable to their normal release items. Furthermore, they aren't monetizing any marginal traffic increases they might have experienced, I beg to ask the question, what's the point? In Shakespearean talk, it's "much ado about nothing". In Stewie Griffin talk, it's "what the deuce?" I definitely think some special interest group in the company had this lame idea of starting a bandai web store and is desperately trying to make it work...

Sorry, my point is, good stuff should be made available to the world, why sell to a handful when you can sell to the masses!

OK, coming in Dec is the Exia Repair for 2500 yen. It actually comes with the Exia body with additional parts for the Repair look. The cape is adjustable to match the poses you create.

Exia Repair II set includes only the new parts (in the red hue), you need to get the Exia separately. It sells for 800 yen.

Gaddess for 3000 yen, the Gaddess and Thruster set for 4800 yen. The thruster is also available on its own for 1800 yen. Well, at least their math is correct...
