Coming from a manufacturer called Dive in late Nov will be these fancy Space Battleship Yamato replica uniforms to celebrate the upcoming live action Yamato movie starring Takuya Kimura. Two styles are available, Susumu Kodai and the Black Tiger fighter pilot versions, 14800 yen each.

ReplyDeleteThey were up for pre-order on AmiAmi website (http://www.amiami.jp/shop/?set=english), but I think they are sold out by now. You may try contacting them and see if they expect new shipment...They only come in two sizes, L or M, and the Large is perfect for a standard height and weight adult. Alternatively, I think someone on eBay is selling a custom tailored version that looks to be even closer to the movie version that Kimutaku wears. Hope that helps.
ReplyDeleteJust checked, restocking of Kodai's version (white with red trims) seems to be sold out, but AmiAmi has a new colour variant - white with blue trims (Sanada version, the guy who actually steer the Yamato, I think) - that's available, also, the black and yellow version will also be restocked.
