News: Yamato Creators Labo Soryu Asuka Langley

I am calling this the best looking and definitely sexiest Asuka figure ever. Coming in Nov from Yamato Toys is this 250mm PVC figure of Soryu Asuka Langley, it's well worth the 8800 yen if you asked me.

Review: Chogokin Super Anima Eva First Impression

Just got this in the mail yesterday, it came in a nice transparent package, I am so very impressed with the product that I just have to throw this preview together even if it's hastily done.

First off, the figure is really well painted, it feels somewhat like a coldcast item. Secondly, this thing is huge, it should be similar in size as Bandai's LMHG Eva released some years ago, and as you can see, it's much taller than our MG ver. ka. Most surprisingly, this thing has pretty good weight to it, nice! The box also proudly proclaimed 'Chogokin', and it just feels right. For the record, this weighs about the same as the GFF Metal Composite Unicorn Gundam (which I also just received).

News: Soul of Chogokin - Eva Anima (Super Eva)

Saw these on Bandai's website, so glad that I pre-ordered this one from way back when...I have been more than a little bit tired of Gainax recycling Eva shamelessly (way worst than what Bandai did with Gundam), but this design is very groovy, it will retail at 8000 yen and comes with a modified body and a sleuth of new weaponary, it looks very bad S...

Evangelion Entry Plug

There seems to be a lot of interest in the Eva entry plug lately, first, there were Shinji and Rei's entry plugs for 8800 yen each from Aoshima in April,

Then there is UpLark's Rei entry plug interior for 12800 yen in September,

Not to be outdone, Sega's Rei and Asuka entry plug interior coming in November for 1400 yen each...
