The only surprise here is that Mark VI got released sooner than Mark V, I thought they would do it chronologically...

This looks pretty good, and I feel bad for those who bought the Mark III damaged version...

News: Hot Toys Assassin's Creed II Ezio

Arriving at the end of Q3 2010 will be Hot Toys' Assassin's Creed II Ezio. I can't really comment on the likeness of Ezio because you hardly see his face in the game, I suppose it's reasonably alike, but my first impression is that the figure seems a bit shorter than I remember, may be it's just these photos. I like the details on the costume they had reproduced, I personally would like to see more of the weapons, especially the different swords he has (they are much fancier) and I thought he had a projectile weapon (gun on the wrist? It's been a long time since I played) towards the end of the game...Anyway, back to the weapons, I hope they release an add-on weapon pack that has the additional weapons...Overall a pretty decent effort.

News: Hot Toys Prince of Persia

Coming in late Q3 or early Q4 is the very fashion conscious, Prince of Persia you, Jake Gyllenhaal you.

Hot Toys also announced that they have signed up the license for Assassin Creed II, I wonder if they will extend beyond the obvious and do the lab girl as well. And for those who care, I've emailed Hot Toys and asked that they should really consider doing Megan Fox...any Megan Fox. Have yet to hear back...

News: Hot Toys Prince of Persia: Prince Dastan

Fresh off the press from Hot Toys is their preview teaser of the upcoming 1/6 Prince Dastan from Prince of Persia (on the left of course), I threw in yesterday's Jake pic for good measure.

Details to follow, but obviously includes his two swords and the dagger of time. I can't wait for the Gemma Arterton character Tamina to be immortalized in this format, hopefully, that one will be just like the Black Widow...An anatomically accurate depiction of the actress...woohoo!

Well, if you ain't Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, this may be your closest chance to hold Scarlett Johannson's hand...

I've been waiting for this Hot Toys release for awhile, woohoo!!! The last Scarlett was her Gestapo look from 'The Spirits', which I wasn't very keen on. This release features an all new body that reflects the actress's shape more accurately...read the description, woohoo^2: (I have already pre-ordered, due out in Dec, triple woohoo)
