There are finally some decent pictures for the previously reported Play Arts Kai figures for Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood.

At first I was excited about this series, but looking at the facial depictions of these figures, I am not sure how faithful they are to the original design. Edward for one looks pretty angry and somewhat evil...

Edward seems to have the most accessories, also check out the pocket watch detail. The shorter figure is the original play art series Edward.

Alphonse will come with the "comic relief expression" head...

Well, this is a nice surprise! Looks like the Elric brothers and Roy Mustang will be rejoining the Play Arts line up this November, 4 years after the Elric brothers started the play arts series. The scultping this time around has a sophisticated look and more in tune with the recent releases in the play arts series. Edward looks to be taller than the original 2005 release, probably because this is based on the 2nd anime series, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood? We continue to dream that one day they will release a castoff version of Envy...
