News: Mega House Gundam Cosmo Fleet Act 4

Fresh off the press is the sample pics for the much anticipated Mega House Gundam Cosmo Fleet Act 4 series. If you've read my rambling on Argama Kai earlier, you will know that I scraped my custom built plan for Nahel Argama because of this release from Mega House (which of course led me to custom designed an Argama Kai - Look under the Gunpla category for that post and others).

Anyway back to this baby, for 3900 yen you get 5 blind boxes (no guarantee you get all 5 ships), but damn how can you not take a chance. I predict a quick sold out. I pre-ordered of course.

All 5 ships have never before been commercially produced as far as I know:

1) Ra Cailum from Char's Counter Attack (CCA), the flag ship that houses the vGundam
2) Nahel Argama from UC0096 Gundam Unicorn

3) VGundam's carrier Lynboss (or something like that)

4) Char's flag ship Realruler (or something like that)

5) And this innovative bad s design from VGundam Adolastia (something like that)

News: Mega House VA Ryu Paladin

Coming mid September is Mega House's variable action figure Ryu Paladin from the Lord Zephyr series, if you asked me, I like the Ryu Knight version better. This one is up for 6000 yen.

News: Mega House 'Lord of Lords' Ryu Knight Zephyr

I remember in the early 90's, RPG fantasy games were gaining momentum worldwide (with the help of a couple of video games called Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest), then came Lord of the Lords Ryu Knight written by Takehiko Ito, and if memory serves me right, it had to be one of the first anime to introduce RPG elements into the story, and combined with robots, SD shaped robots.


Back in those days some 15 years ago, I was actually oblivious to the existence of this anime. Then I chanced upon an anime theme song collection on a CD and was struck by the really, really, really...energetic, upbeat and of course catchy tune that is the theme song for Ryu Knight. From then on, as they say, it's history...and to this day, the song remains in my top 10 list of all times, a great way to start the day - title of the song is Good-Bye Tears by Yumiko Takahashi.

Very glad that Mega House resurrected interest in this anime by making a fine toy, you can order yours at a discount from Hobby Search (which is where I snatched these fabulous pictures from).

News: Mega House Monkey D Luffy Strong Edition

Mega House is bring us this awesome 1/8 figure Monkey D Luffy figure in Dec.

The figure will sell for 5700 yen and feature a movable right hand and comes with the giant gun. 

  

   

News: Megahouse 1/144 Linebarrel of Iron Mode-B

This Variable Action Linebarrel Mode-B will be available in the early half of Oct for 7000 yen.

The interesting thing was that I just found out Megahouse is a wholy owned subsidiary of Bandai.

Mega House Cosmo Fleet Gundam Act 3 ZGundam

Mega House will be releasing this nice set of battleship from the ZGundam series in late Aug. The retail price will be 6240 yen and each box will include 8 randomly packed pieces.

It's a little pricy, but check out the details and paint job on this Gwadan...
