Wow, I've been missing in action for 4 months, just want to express my thanks to those who continue to support and visit this blog, and also apologize for being away for so long.
In this 4 months, I managed to visit HK (and surprisingly did not buy any collectables) and picked up a new hobby. Though there are some cross over with the main theme of this blog, the new hobby is, by and large, not related. Hobby Search has a "SAL" sale until Feb 11th I think, to celebrate their addition of the "SAL" shipping method. You get 15% to 20% off in-stock and pre-order items, it's worth checking it out. Note that items eligible for SAL is marked with a SAL sign in the item description line. Their website is www.1999.co.jp/eng, there are a couple of things sitting in my shopping cart, I am still sitting on the fence though...

Shipping to N.A. is about $23 USD. From what I understand, the parts cost 3500 yen + about 800 yen shipping from Bandai to a local Japanese supplier, so it sounds fair...
