Judging from these pictures, this looks to be a new design chogokin of the Space Battleship Yamato. Scheduled to release in Nov for 22000 yen, this baby will just be in time for the release of the live action movie with the same title, starring still Japan's most recognizable movie and pop star Takuya Kimura.
These may be pictures of the prototype, but the shape is decidedly different from the original Yamato chogokin. The display stand itself is a piece of work, I really like the way you can change the angle of display. The lights on the engine seems much brighter, and it also comes with a few more aircrafts such as the medical one (the old version came with the zero, 2 black tiger & 2 tiger II).
