Review: Robot Damashii Gundam Seravee

The Gundam Seravee is quite a design, I must admit it took some time to get past the big facial gimmick on the Seraphim though. I remember debating whether to get the 1/100 gunpla kit instead, but I think the Robot Damashii version has done justice to the design.

The MSIA Nadleeh in these pictures of course is sold separately, you can check out yesterday's review of it.

The Seravee is quite massive, and the clean lines and good quality plastic in the Damashii version is reassuring. It came with the GN Bazooka II, which can be combined to form a massive canon. Other accessories include hands for the Seraphim, clear green panels to cover the hand joints for the beam canon look, beam saber, etc.

It features a good range of movement, although the clunkiness of the armour does prevent certain poses to be realized.

But overall, I am very satisfied with what it can do. The engineer did a good job on weight distribution to balance out the figure.

The transformation of the Seraphim is quite well done, I especially like the hatch that covers the head when it is combined with the Seravee, but it hinges back to cover the connector when it is in Seraphim form. The short arms still kills me though...

Ebony and Ivory, which design do you prefer?
